Enzo Fernandez’s superb free kick against Aston Villa has been chosen by supporters as Chelsea’s goal of the month for February.
The strike was the icing on the cake of a brilliant performance in the FA Cup replay at Villa Park which saw the Blues run out 3-1 winners.
Fernandez stepped up and curled his effort into the top corner and past international team mate Emi Martinez who was at full stretch.
The World Cup winner has added more goals to his game this season and has found the back of the net seven times in all competitions.
Fernandez’s strike took 78% of the votes with Conor Gallagher’s last minute goal against Crystal Palace and Mayra Ramirez’s strike for the women’s side also against The Eagles coming joint second with Raheem Sterling’s goal against Manchester city rounding out the top three.
