“I have said before that I am confident that it will be done. I don’t know when that will be. But I expect an agreement will be reached.”
On being asked whether the rumours of him joining Liverpool will affect the performances of his current season or not, Slot replied:
“Not at all. It is a pleasure to work with this group and staff members. Then it is not difficult at all. I will answer all questions after the season, but now I am there to get as many points as possible with Feyenoord.”
Although Arne Slot has not been formally appointed as the manager of Liverpool, many fans are talking about him possibly bringing a few of his excellent Dutch players from Feyenoord to liverpool.
Along with Lutsharel Geertruida who was spotted in the away section during Liverpool’s 2-2 draw against West Ham at the London Stadium, there are quite several links from the Dutch league that have been highly connected to Liverpool.
