Two arrests have been made after an individual was attacked outside Norwich City’s Carrow Road stadium.
The incident occurred after Norwich hosted Leeds United in the first leg of their Championship promotion play-off semi-final.
Norwich confirmed to The Athletic that two arrests have been made, adding that they are working with the police to identify those involved and investigate what happened. The Athletic has approached Norfolk Constabulary for comment.
Sunday’s match finished goalless ahead of the second leg at Elland Road on Thursday.
Leeds finished third in the Championship regular season — missing out on automatic promotion to the Premier League by one place — on 90 points, while Norwich finished in sixth place, 17 points further back.
West Bromwich Albion are up against Southampton in the other play-off semi-final, with the two sides playing out a 0-0 draw at The Hawthorns on Sunday.
