Arsenal will host Liverpool in the FA Cup third-round draw, while Newcastle United travel to Sunderland in a tantalising north-east derby.
Reigning FA Cup winners Manchester City will host Huddersfield Town, while beaten finalists Manchester United face a trip to Wigan Athletic.
The third round of the competition is the first in which Premier League and Championship teams take part. The first round proper, the stage where League One and League Two sides enter, began on November 4.

Maidstone United are the lowest-ranked team with a guaranteed spot in the third round. The National League South side won 2-0 against Barrow, two divisions above them in League Two, in their second-round game on Saturday and have been rewarded with a home tie against League One’s Stevenage or Port Vale.
Ramsgate, from two tiers below Maidstone in the Isthmian South East league, face a trip to League Two AFC Wimbledon on Monday in the second round. The winner of that match will play Southampton away.
The FA Cup third round will take place over the weekend of January 6-7, with the fourth round coming on the weekend of January 27-28.
