West Ham United travel to St James’ Park to take on Newcastle United in the Premier League after the international break.
And Newcastle have been dealt a truly massive blow that everyone seems to have forgotten about.
West Ham desperately need a result in the Premier League clash with the Toon, with Julen Lopetegui under huge pressure right now.
All is not well at the London Stadium right now, and there’s said to be friction between Lopetegui and director of football Tim Steidten.
The football on display has been painful to watch on the most part, with Lopetegui struggling to get a tune out of the vast majority of his summer signings.
Many Hammers fans are predicting a heavy defeat to Newcastle on November 25th, but we might just have a good chance to get a result after the latest news…
Newcastle blow ahead of West Ham that nobody’s talking about
Eddie Howe’s Magpies have improved greatly in recent weeks, and they’re now just one point adrift of the Champions League places.
They have really turned things around, after an immensely challenging opening couple of months of the season.
We all know just how difficult it will be for us to get a result at St James’ Park, especially with the news that they’re set to welcome Kieran Trippier, Anthony Gordon and our old nemesis Callum Wilson from injury.
However, Newcastle have received some really bad news as well.
Dan Burn – a stalwart for the Toon this season, will miss the Hammers clash through suspension (Premier Injuries).
That really is a huge blow for the Toon, especially with Sven Botman and Jamal Lascelles out injured as well.
The Hammers definitely have the players to hurt Newcastle, but it will all depend on whether Lopetegui actually sets up the team to win.
Mohammed Kudus will obviously be a big miss for us, but if the likes of Jarrod Bowen, Lucas Paqueta and Crysencio Summerville are on top form, it will very much be game on at St James’ Park.
Newcastle not having Dan Burn available for the West Ham clash is very bad news indeed for them.
