Bayern Munich’s plan for youth development in the upcoming season has been revealed. In a report from kicker, captured via @iMiaSanMia:
• [attacking midfielder] Arijon Ibrahimović will return to Bayern after Frosinone got relegated and won’t activate the option to buy. Ibrahimović will have a chance during preseason to impress [new head coach Vincent] Kompany
• [attacking midfielder] Paul Wanner is expected to be loaned out. PSV, Gladbach and Bremen are interested. Bayern believe Wanner can make his breakthrough at the club in the medium term
• Regarding [center-back] Tarek Buchmann, Bayern want to see whether he can complete a full pre-season without injury. Then a decision will be made. A loan move is a possibility

These are all senior players, alongside the likes of Gabriel Vidović (20), Frans Krätzig (21), and Lovro Zvonarek (19). Ibrahimović (18)’s return is a small surprise after it was expected the Serie A side would buy him — but relegation to Serie B has understandably changed matters.
Wanner (18) and Buchmann (19) look less likely to push for an immediate role with the senior side — in part due to log-jams at their respective positions, as well as their experience at top level so far.
