According to a report by Relevo journalist Joni Ramos (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich is interested in Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams:
Bayern is the latest club to show interest in Athletic Club winger Nico Williams (21). The Bavarian club rates Williams very highly and keeps his name on the list of future prospects for this summer. Although the new coach has not been officialized yet, the club’s management is active on the market looking for potential targets. Athletic would not negotiate and refer to the player’s release clause of just under €60m.
With the Bavarians seeking to refresh the wing position, Williams could be a player who would interest Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany as he assesses which current players he might want to stay.
With Leroy Sané, Kingsley Coman, Serge Gnabry, Mathys Tel, Bryan Zaragoza, and Jamal Musiala all capable of playing wing, plus the rumors that Kompany might run a 4-4-2 system, there could be more departures than arrivals at the wing position this season.
