Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich knows the level of effort and commitment that goalkeeper Manuel Neuer brings to the club scene on a daily basis.
For the German national team, Neuer is just as focused — and you can count Kimmich among those players who are still amazed day-to-day at what Neuer brings to the table.
“What he’s done is an incredible achievement. Not just that he came back [from injury], but also the way in which he came back. He had some incredible situations this season with Bayern. That gives you an incredibly good feeling on the pitch,” said Kimmich (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Neuer had a strong season for Bayern Munich, but did have some uncharacteristic mistakes at the end of the season. No doubt, the veteran will be seeking to right those wrongs at the EURO 2024 competition.
