The future of the Bayern Munich midfield, Aleksandar Pavlović, recently spoke about a player he resembles in one massive way: they are both products of the Bayern Munich youth academy. Thomas Müller critiqued the youngster after his second start against VfB Stuttgart according to @iMiaSanMia: “It wasn’t perfect, I wasn’t happy with him in some of the tackles in the first half.”
How did the German international take Müller’s comments? He appreciated them, just like the pro that he is according to @iMiaSanMia: “Thomas is simply honest. And we all really appreciate that about him. I knew exactly what he meant at the time. And he was right. If something goes well, he praises it. If something doesn’t go well, he criticises, but always constructively. I learn a lot from him.”
Yes, while we all see the fun side of Müller on the pitch, one cannot last this long at the top level and play for a club which has changed managers so frequently in the past decade that it is hard to keep track without being a strong leader. Pavlović is now listening and learning.
