Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlović might be a creature of habit, but he does not have any superstitions or rituals that he follows.
“I don’t have a specific ritual. I always listen to music before the game. But it varies. I listen to everything. In general, I try to relax and just enjoy myself. Being nervous or afraid – that doesn’t help at all,” Pavlović told Säbener51 (as captured by @iiMiaSanMia).
The Germany international does, however, want to make some improvements to his game — including continuing to try and transform himself physically.
“I definitely want to become more athletic, build some more muscle — and improve my game off the ball,” said Pavlović.
Pavlović’s recent bout with tonsillitis and a possible surgery to help permanently fix the situation could cut into the youngster’s plans for a quick build-up to his physique, but he has the benefit of both time and youth on his side. A temporary setback will not hurt his long-term progress.
