One of the emerging stars in Germany is Mainz 05 attacker Brajan Gruda, who was training with the German national team as a practice player before being felled by a calf injury.
Because of his status as one of the country’s best young players, Gruda has been linked to Bayern Munich — and it appears that he would even prefer a move to Bavaria if he was to leave Die Nullfünfer.
With Bayern Munich looking to shed wages, it would be a nice give-and-take for the Bavarians…a hefty transfer fee with a lower-scale salary. The other key factor is that the Bavarians are reportedly seeking to refresh the wing position.
Another option for Bayern Munich is to acquire Gruda, but loan him back to Mainz. With his current club reportedly in search of €50 million for the youngster, a loan arrangement could help lessen the cost and financial burden for the Bavarians.
