Despite rumors indicating that Bayern Munich might be interested in FC Köln goalkeeper Jonas Urbig, it does not appear as if any move is imminent…or even likely.
Urbig, who spent last season on loan with Greuther Fürth, will not be headed to Säbener Straße per Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg:
News Jonas #Urbig | FC Bayern is monitoring the 20 y/o goalkeeper talent from @fckoeln closely and will continue to do so. However, there are NO plans for a transfer this summer!
➡️ Bayern is planning with Neuer, Ulreich, and either Hülsmann or Schmitt as their new number three. In case Peretz actually leaves the club on loan.

With Manuel Neuer, Sven Ulreich, Alexander Nübel, Tom Ritzy Hülsmann, and Max Schmitt among the organization options in between the sticks, Bayern Munich is not in dire need of an acquisition this summer.
More likely, the Bavarians will just keep an eye on Urbig from far — just in case he becomes a more viable option in the future.
