Lewis Brunt and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall are both announced departures today, leaving Leicester to join new clubs Wrexham and Chelsea. The move of KDH is one long lost secret, but Brunt, on loan at Mansfield last season, surprisingly ended up at promotion rivals Wrexham.
Lewis Brunt and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall can come head to head in a friendly out in California on the 25th of July, when their new clubs will play each other in an event taking place in Santa Clara.
Wrexham have a Hollywood ownership, but they do not interfere in the smartness of manager Phil Parkinson, building for League One life, as they of course went for Lewis Brunt instead of Jamie Vardy, not going for show business, but instead cleverly building stone by stone in a very interesting project taking place in North Wales.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall made it clear he is ready to take his next step in football. He had been with Leicester since the age of 8 and taking the steps needed to blossom into a special footballer, being valued to £35million. He is the next in a series of moves to Chelsea FC. A club that in the recent past have been eager to recruit from Leicester, having seen N’Golo Kantè, Danny Drinkwater, Ben Chilwell, Wesley Fofana, manager Enzo Maresca and finally KDH joining.
We wish both Lewis Brunt and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall the best on their next chapter in football, hopefully this in will lead to also a progress at LCFC, winning ground in all departments and again being a club young talents would love to join to progress in the game, as well as being able to build on and stay competitive at the highest level.
