Former Bayern Munich coach (and the last successful one) Hansi Flick might perhaps be preparing to welcome a new member to his coaching team; his former player Thiago Alcántara might hop on board according to @sport via @tjuanmarti | @scapde_45:
Here is a rough translation of the tweet:
‼️ ́ | Thiago Alcántara gives the a Flick to join his staff.
➡️Según has confirmed SPORT, the former player agrees to work with the German coach.
Thiago always seemed to have the mind of a coach with how he orchestrated play in the Bayern Munich midfield. He won everything for Bayern before heading to Liverpool but unfortunately suffered from a string of injuries which meant that he was never really able to string together a few consecutive performances for the Merseyside club. Thiago also knows the culture at Barcelona having played there and having been part of the youth setup as well. He can set up Flick for success.
It will be interesting to see how FC Barcelona set up under Flick. All eyes will surely be on him and Vincent Kompany to see if Bayern did indeed make the right choice.
