According to a report from David Ornstein of The Athletic (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Manchester United is attempting to sign Lille’s Leny Yoro and Bayern Munich’s Matthijs de Ligt, so it could be a while before a deal gets done between the Red Devils and the Bavarians:
Manchester United have been pursuing moves for Matthijs de Ligt and Leny Yoro. Progress has been achieved on each front recently, though the current expectation is they would recruit one or the other as opposed to both
Given a deal for De Ligt looks relatively straightforward if United choose to proceed, at present they seem to be prioritising Yoro and exploring whether the Frenchman can be convinced to join them rather than hold out for Real Madrid.
With Real Madrid in the mix for Yoro, Manchester United’s bid for the youngster could end up being bigger than originally anticipated. If it goes through, will that affect United’s financial offer for De Ligt?
