Bayern Munich legend Uli Hoeneß made no bones about what he expects from his club this season when it comes to winning the Bundesliga.
“Leverkusen will have a good team this year too, they also have a very good coach. I expect the resistance from Leverkusen to be just as big — but the resistance in Munich has to be bigger. One thing is clear: there will be a general attack from FC Bayern,” Hoeneß told Bild (via @iMiaSanMia).
Bayer Leverkusen might not be the only serious threat to Bayern Munich, though. RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund, and VfB Stuttgart should all be strong once again, too. For Hoeneß, it is easy to talk the talk, but it will be up to the players to walk the walk.
