According to a report from Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich might not be as far along with Bayer Leverkusen center-back as previously reported.
Earlier this week, kicker detailed a story which indicated that Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen reached an agreement on a transfer deal for Tah. Bild, though, says that there has been no progress made in talks for six weeks:
Bayern have not made a new offer for Jonathan Tah in the past 6 weeks. The last bid still stands at €20m fixed plus €5m add-ons. The last contact between Max Eberl and Simon Rolfes was around four weeks ago without any significant progress. Leverkusen are still willing to sell Tah in principle, but only under their terms, which are €30m. Tah has travelled with Leverkusen to London to face Arsenal today — and as things stand, it’s not expected to be his last trip with the club.
The report from kicker indicated that the clubs agreed upon a deal in the neighborhood of €25 million fixed, plus €5 million in add-ons, so the numbers are not that far off. Bild, though, seems to take more issue with the the timing of things as they have indicated that no recent talks have taken place.
