Palace want to keep both Eze and Guehi but understand they maybe powerless to keep the duo.
Guehi will enter the final year of his deal next summer, opening up a real possibility of him leaving for nothing in 2026 – a scenario they Palace want to avoid.
Eze, meanwhile, has an initial £60m release clause in his deal that can be activated. That fee could rise to as much as £68m based on bonuses.
Palace want a straight cash deal for Eze, and are unlikely to consider an offer that includes a player coming in the opposite direction.
