Fulham have agreed a fee of £30m including add-ons with Crystal Palace for defender Joachim Andersen.
Last week, Mail Sport reported the west London side tabled a second offer, worth an initial £25million and an additional £5m in add-ons.
They have now upped the offer and a deal between both sides for 28-year-old Denmark star Andersen has been struck.
Andersen’s centre-back partner Marc Guehi has been a target for Newcastle, who have had multiple bids rejected for the £65m-rated England international.
The Magpies are now monitoring Liverpool‘s Joe Gomez as a possible alternative and earlier in the window, Palace chairman Steve Parish conceded that it would be unlikely that the club would sell both Andersen and Guehi.

Marco Silva’s side are closing in on a move for the Dane, who will reinforce the defence
‘I can’t imagine a situation where we would lose both of our centre-backs’, he told the BBC.
‘We have got to sit and think about the right thing to do.
‘If both of them are still here at the end of the window I wouldn’t be surprised.’
Palace remain keen on Wolfsburg’s Maxence Lacroix and Andersen’s impending departure could accelerate a move for the Frenchman.

Andersen and Guehi have been at the centre of the defensive structure at Palace for a number of years, with the latter moving to the club the same summer as his team-mate.
The Dane played for Fulham on loan from Lyon in the 2020-21 season, before arriving at Selhurst Park.
