The former Manchester United and Chelsea boss has been linked with the Everton managerial position
Everton supporters have sent a clear message to the Toffees hierarchy after Jose Mourinho was linked with the managerial position at Goodison Park. Reports broke earlier this week tipping the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss to take over from Sean Dyche after the recent takeover deal from the Friedkin Group was agreed.
Mourinho is no stranger to Dan Friedkin having been hired, and fired, by the American during his time at AS Roma. The Portuguese coach won the Europa Conference League and guided I Giallorossi to the Europa League Final during his tenure in Serie A, before being sacked in January 2024.
Now in charge of Turkish side Fenerbahce, Mourinho has been linked with a reunion with his former employer. However, Everton supporters have sent a clear message to the new Toffees chiefs about Dyche’s future and a potential move for Mourinho.

Here’s what the Liverpool Echo readers had to say regarding Mourinho’s links to Merseyside:
carlos67: “Mourinho has had glittering career but i really don’t think he would the right fit for Everton now. There can be no guarantees whoever the manager is. I might be tempted to see if Graham Potter is available. His experience at Chelsea will have provided him with more experience and Everton may just be a better fit. But we need to get behind Sean Dyche while he is our manager.”mickbutcher: “I for one do not want him as Everton manager. He can take Beto, Harrison and Young with him on the way out.”hamlet53: “Definitely not Mourinho! If the new owners bring him in it will be the first major disaster of their time in charge. It is a bit of hope we are looking for not the biggest whinger of a manager to work in the Premier League“
weshallnotbemoved replied: “100%. Good, young, progressive manager required.”
wall2wall28 said: “Dyche out and please get the messiah David Moyes back.”.
weshallnotbemoved also said: “Jose? No thanks. I enjoyed his domination of Liverpool and his shushing of the Liverpool fans, but not for me.”
