West Ham are set to appeal charges made by FA against the club and their player Mohammed Kudus.
On Tuesday, The FA charged West Ham and Spurs for failing to ensure their players “didn’t behave in an improper and/or provocative and/or violent way.
Spurs admitted the charge and were fined £20,000 today but West Ham will appeal their charge against their players.
Mohammed Kudus is facing an extended ban after hitting out at Tottenham stars following red card for violent conduct during West Ham’s Premier League defeat on Saturday
A club source speaking to Claret and Hugh exclusively admitted the club would contesting that charge too by saying “We are fighting both. They are trying to extend the Kudus ban.”
The club fear that the FA could extend Kudus ban up to six games if unchallenged.
The cases will be heard by an independent three-man tribunal which will seal the clubs and Kudus’ fate.
