West Ham United head coach Julen Lopetegui is facing some really challenging questions at the moment, and rightly so.
Julen Lopetegui has struggled to make a positive impression on the West Ham fans since moving to the London Stadium.
One high-profile journalist actually suggested a couple of days ago that a club that was run properly would already be eyeing replacements for the Spaniard.
And it has even been claimed that Lopetegui is on the brink of being sacked, with Edin Terzic being lined up to replace him.
Things are are going to get harder for the Hammers after the international break.
We face a must-win game against Everton on Saturday, but then games against Newcastle and Arsenal lie in wait for us before the end of the month.
I personally think Lopetegui doesn’t actually have a clue what he’s doing, and he should be moved on before things get worse.
I’ve noticed how his relationship with two players has really cost us dearly this season.
Julen Lopetegui has clearly fallen out with 2 West Ham stars
In my opinion, all is not well behind the scenes at the London Stadium.
I personally feel like three separate incidents over the past five weeks prove that two Hammers in particular are not happy with Lopetegui one little bit.
Edson Alvarez and Mohammed Kudus have picked up three red cards between them since September 25th, and I really don’t think any of those incidents would’ve happened, had the two players respected their gaffer.
Kudus’s action away at Tottenham were unforgivable if you ask me. It wasn’t proof that he’s got fight in his belly – it was just pure stupidty.
And the same goes with Alvarez’s two reds for ridiculously reckless challenges. The Mexican didn’t even say sorry to Lopetegui during his social media apology on Sunday.
I firmly believe that Julen Lopetegui has fallen out with both of those West Ham players, but they all have to sort it out quickly, as it’s the Hammers fans who’re really being hurt.
There seems to be a lot wrong at the London Stadium right now.
Certain players are clearly not acting professionally, and that needs to change, if we are to enjoy any kind of success in the 2024/25 campaign.
