A Tottenham youngster scored a sensational long-range goal for the second time in a matter of weeks against Leicester.
Luca Williams-Barnett, who is only 16, has been in good form for the Under-18 team with the north London club, and was named on the first team bench against Galatasaray on Thursday.
He was an unused substitute, but continued his fine form for his regular side on Saturday in some style.
With his team 1-0 down just before half time through a goal from the Foxes’ Kaleb Dyke, Williams-Barnett let fly from just inside his opponents’ half, lobbing the goalkeeper to square things up.
And it was a strike that sent his side on their ways to victory with Tynan Thompson and Jun’ai Byfield adding to the scoring in the second half to secure a 3-1 win for Spurs.

The 16-year-old had scored an almost identical goal against West Ham just three weeks ago

It wasn’t the first time he has pulled off the effort, either. Against West Ham three weeks ago, he shot from even closer to the half way line and netted to open the scoring.
That time, though, it would be in a losing effort. West Ham hit back with four goals without reply, until Williams-Barnett scored again with the game ending 4-2.
In the south division Premier League Under-18 table, Tottenham, who are coached by former Stevenage and Gillingham midfielder Stuart Lewis, sit third.
Williams-Barnett has been hailed as one of the stars of the division so far this season, and was rewarded with a spot in the squad against Galatasaray, with first team manager Ange Postecoglou not shy of giving youngsters a chance.
An England youth international, he is in his first full season of Under-18s football, but is tipped to rise through the ranks quickly.
He could join the likes of fellow youngsters Mikey Moore and Will Lankshear in being involved in the first team more regularly in the near future.
