Steve Cooper looks to be far down the list of potential managers to leave his post. We do believe that he will get until new year, to see were Leicester are at that point. Owners will wait patiently to avoid too much problems. Leicester will play Chelsea, Brentford, West Ham, Brighton and Newcastle in the next games and the point catch from these fixtures will be the base of what is waiting next.
Despite a 3-0 loss away at Old Trafford vs. Man Utd, the performance was far from negative, as Leicester had almost the same possession as the home team, also creating a number of chances, but without Jamie Vardy it will be difficult to convert. A back problem held him out of the game, giving Jordan Ayew a chance, he came close on one or two attempts, but brings a very different approach to the field.
Should Steve Cooper stop his progress, it could be an earlier decision. Cooper is still experimenting a bit, not always getting the answers needed from his players, having a few positions far from the quality needed. We believe Steve Cooper will be given funds in the January transfer window, if he is still at the helm. Leicester are linked with new players allready, and we do believe one or two new faces will arrive, possibly a left back and one more attacking option.
The return of Patson Daka will give Steve Cooper more options up front and hopefully landing a couple of quality players in January could see him progress and reach his ultimate target, survival in Premier League.

The list of potential new managers could be one including names with a previous life at Leicester, either as a player or a manager. Roberto Mancini is closely linked to the Roma job, potentially getting that one, he would not be joining Leicester in January. But in a recent interview he has expressed his feelings for the club and knows what type of potential it could be, his name will most certainly be one very interesting, if he is available in January. The close and successful relation Leicester have to Italian coaches, would of course not be a negative. Claudio Ranieri bringing home the PL trophy, Enzo Maresca winning the LC.
Gary Rowett and Brendan Rodgers are two other candidates that would be considered. Rowett was an interim coach at Birmingham last season, and if Leicester cannot find the candidate they are looking for, Rowett could be considered as a solution out the season. Brendan Rodgers is one clever head in football, and when sacking him, another manager, Dean Smith, took Leicester down, not Brendan. He is currently in his second season at Celtic, winning trophies and playing in Europe, and to see him return to Premier League would not be a surprise.
David Moyes and Graham Potter are other obvious names on a list of candidates, also linked in the summer, Ruud van Nistelrooy, has shown his capacity as an interim solution at Man Utd. He will also most certainly be on a short list of candidates. Carlos Corberan and Tom Cleverley are two other candidates that could be seen as potential candidates, doing well with West Brom and Watford at the moment.
Steve Cooper is not considered sacked as this point, and he will get more games to get things on track again, but of course dropping into the relegation zone would see him under heavy pressure, if that happens before the new year comes around.
Football Insider reports on several matters in football. They are often making hard points, but this time we do feel they are a bit off target, judging Steve Cooper. Cooper is in close range of what he is supposed to deliver, a potential Leicester survival in Premier League. Cooper is a this point 13/1 to be the next manager to walk, so we just have to calm down a bit, before talking about him leaving the club. We do believe we have to wait until the end of December for that to happen, if results are in decline, anything else would see him also in this job next season.
