Jamal Musiala is unquestionably one of Bayern Munich’s most important players. The 21-year-old has played a starring role in facilitating Vincent Kompany’s style of play and seems to be getting better and better after each game.
It’s no great secret that Musiala has always been a special talent, but as the young German continues to progress into one of the world’s best players, a new question beckons for Die Rekordmeister: Wil Jamal Musiala stay at Bayern?
The club and fans alike will be hoping they can hang on to Musiala, but in the meantime, Thomas Müller believes what Musiala should do is clear (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
“It’s quite clear that he should stay at Bayern. That’s the clear plan of everyone who supports FC Bayern. He’s hard-working, has quality and the environment to play well. He’s very important for our game because he does things that allow us to move forward productively and keeps every defensive line busy. On a scale of 1 to 10? Well he’s playing at the #10 position – so, yes, he’s close to that (10). The exchange [between Musiala and Bayern] is very good. I think they’ll come together,” Müller said.
Bayern will be desperate to keep Musiala in Bavaria and may have to pull out all the stops to convince the attacking-midfielder to stay, but some Müller propaganda is certainly a good way to start.
There are, however, a myriad of factors that will ultimately determine Musiala’s future at Bayern Munich. From their ability to compete in the Champions League to being able to fend off interest from some of Europe’s powerhouse clubs, Musiala staying put in Bavaria is far from guaranteed.
