Details of Darren Fletcher’s X-rated verbal outburst against Brentford have been revealed.
The Manchester United coach confronted the officials at half-time of the match at Old Trafford on October 19.
Fletcher had been angered by the decision to force Matthijs de Ligt to leave the pitch for treatment on a head wound.
Brentford then took the lead from the resulting corner with the defender off the field.
As a result, Fletcher confronted referee Samuel Barrott at the end of the first half.
He is then said to have continued his protests towards Barrott and fourth official Gavin Ward in the tunnel.

An Independent Regulatory Commission later handed Fletcher a three-match touchline ban and a £7,500 fine.
Ward told the commission, via the Daily Mail: “Following the half time whistle and as I made my way up the tunnel, I was approached by Darren Fletcher of Manchester United in an extremely aggressive manner pointing and shouting at me ‘you are all f***ing shit, that is a f***ing joke, every f***ing week.
“I asked him to calm down and highlighted that his behaviour was completely unacceptable at this point.
“He then needed to be held back by another member of staff, as he tried to get closer to me. With this, I turned away and continued to make my way to the match officials changing room.
“Once in the changing room and when the other match officials arrived, I made them aware of the conduct of Mr Fletcher.”
The commission also viewed video evidence from the tunnel, during which Fletcher became ‘agitated and starts to remonstrate with the Fourth Official, gesturing with his hands, shouting, and attempting to get closer to the Fourth Official in a confrontational manner’.
The report adds: “He is then held back and pushed away by a Manchester United colleague.”
Although the video did not have audio, the commission felt Fletcher was shown ‘acting in a manner that we consider to be aggressive’.
Despite the former midfielder apologising for his behaviour, he was given a three-match touchline ban.
He served the first of those games on Sunday against Leicester and will also miss the upcoming clashes with Ipswich and Everton.
The 40-year-old will return to the touchline for the trip to Arsenal on December 4.
Fletcher has been a technical coach at United since April after leaving his role as technical director.
His twin sons Jack and Tyler are also at the club as part of their under-18 side.
