Now former England manager Sam Allardyce has come forward with another word critiquing the former Celtic manager.
Sam Allardyce has highlighted how there is one area where the Australian head coach needs to get better at.
The Australian head coach has divided opinions since taking charge of White Hart Lane, with his team playing a certain attacking brand of football without a defensive balance that has caused Spurs heftily at large. The defensive problems have led to some inexcusable losses in the ongoing season, with the latest one coming against Ipswich Town, with the Premier League newcomers taking three points out of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Allardyce criticizes Postecoglou interviews
However, the 70-year-old veteran believes that Ange Postecoglou’s problems don’t lie on the pitch and rather away from it. He insists that the Spurs head coach needs to work on how he addresses media as Allardyce picks up on a strange habit that his managerial counterpart possesses.
Speaking on the Seaman Says Podcast, the former West Ham manager said:
“He (Postecoglou) must be totally different on the training ground than he is as an interviewee. You know, there’s a certain level you have to be pretty good at, otherwise people start questioning you. He might be the best coach or manager in the world, but people will question you because his interviews are not very good.”
