Bayer Leverkusen ace Florian Wirtz could miss at least one of Germany’s two Nations League games in the next week, and it sounds like it is due to illness.

Germany plays Bosnia and Herzegovina on Saturday and Hungary on Tuesday.
If Wirtz is not able to go, perhaps it opens the door for others — like Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sané or Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Julian Brandt — to step into the attacking lines. Germany will also be without the likes of VfB Stuttgart’s Deniz Undav, so this could be a challenging period for Die Mannschaft.
On the other hand it is a fresh opportunity for many to assert themselves once more in the plans of national team coach Julian Nagelsmann.
