According to a report from Sport1 journalists Johannes Fischer and Stefan Kumberger, Bayern Munich and Jamal Musiala are set to agree on a new contract that will run through 2030 and would give the Germany international a massive raise.
In addition, there would not be a release clause included in the contract. Let’s take a look at some excerpt from the report:
Bayern will have to stretch themselves to ensure that Musiala stays in Munich long-term. According to SPORT1 information, the offensive player, whose market value according to transfermarkt.de is already over 100 million euros, will enter the spheres of top earner Harry Kane. Including bonuses, the English centre-forward can collect up to 22 million euros annually.
Musiala’s salary is currently in the single-digit million range, but that would change dramatically with his signature. In return, those in charge, including sporting director Max Eberl, want the new contract to last as long as possible – ideally more than three years.
It is quite possible that the 36-time national player will commit himself to FC Bayern until 2030, if, for example, the new contract begins in July 2025. In addition, there should be no exit clause, which Eberl had already announced in mid-September in the STAHLWERK Doppelpass ( “That would be very unusual for Bayern Munich”) .
That would certainly be something well-received by Bayern Munich fans. Will it come to fruition? If so, how would you feel about the deal?
