Alphonso Davies is starting to get back to form, which is great news for Bayern Munich, only that Davies is 99% leaving in the summer (most likely at Real Madrid). David Raum, plying his trade at RB Leipzig, got a chat in a podcast stream asking him if he would replace the Canadian in Munich. “If I were to be honest, I would say I have no idea what will happen after this season, but I have a contract here in Leipzig and everything is great”, Raum said (Podcast Phrasenmäher via Bild as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia).
The 26-year-old also reiterated that Bayern has not submitted an inquiry nor has Leipzig gotten offers from other clubs. “No, not at all. There’s no discussion, nothing”, Raum declared. “I can honestly say that and that is why it’s not a topic for me at all. But we all know how things are in football. I feel extremely comfortable here and see my future in Leipzig. But I have also said, for example, that the Premier League might be a dream and a big goal at some point.”
When you look at it, this has all the makings of iShowSpeed’s rise to fame: a single chat can change everything and making it big at Bayern is something that will propel Raum (and his stock) way high.
