Arsenal have been handed a fresh injury blow ahead of Saturday’s Premier League game against Nottingham Forest at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners have been hampered by injuries in the early part of the campaign and they have suffered another potential setback.
Leandro Trossard was substituted in the 37th minute in Belgium’s 1-0 loss to Israel and he is now doubtful to face Forest this weekend.
Trossard is unlikely to start with Martin Odegaard fully fit and firing again, but his absence would represent a huge blow for the Gunners.
The 29-year-old has been brilliant off the bench with several goal contributions for the Gunners and his influence will be missed.
With a hectic schedule coming up, the likes of Ethan Nwaneri and Raheem Sterling will need to step up to compensate if Trossard is sidelined.
Arsenal are nine points behind table-toppers Liverpool in the top-flight and they need a huge winning streak to pile pressure on the Reds.
