NFL in Europe has been a part the brand’s scheme of trying to gather an audience outside of the United States, some of the games are held in Bundesliga stadiums across Germany. Good for revenue and exposure, but not so much for the pitches. Especially in the Allianz Arena:

It’s common knowledge that the Allianz pitch was never the same after an NFL game ca. 2022, which became the subject of a running joke much to the Sodfather’s chagrin. Bayern Munich even nabbed Wolfsburg’s grassman to rectify the damage but since then the quality of the pitch has steadily declined, attracting complaints from fans and even from those who use the pitch.
Bayern were snubbed in the Grassy Awards (The Grammy’s is its knockoff but is somehow more popular) because of some dirt-y play but this sabotage job has gone too far. Someone is mound to take action because a club of Bayern’s stature does not deserve such atrocities.
