A competitive transfer race is heating up for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush, with the 25-year-old continuing to impress in the Bundesliga this season. German journalist Marcel Reif also weighed in on where he thinks the player could end up.
Last month, TBR Football reported that top Premier League clubs—including Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Newcastle United—are all keeping tabs on Marmoush.
Other European heavyweights, such as Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, and Atletico Madrid, are also monitoring his performances.
According to German outlet Fussball News, Eintracht Frankfurt could be open to selling their in-form striker for around €60 million (£50 million or $64.8 million).
Is Omar Marmoush Premier League-bound?
Reif is the latest to support the claim, backing Marmoush to team up with manager Arne Slot next season and potentially replace Mohamed Salah, whose contract with the Reds runs out in June.
“It’s no secret that he will probably move to Liverpool next summer,” Reif told GIVE ME SPORT. “I would put a few euros on it. As the successor to his great idol Mo Salah. Things couldn’t get any better for him.”
The Sunday Mirror recently reported that Marmoush is considering a move to the Premier League if he leaves Frankfurt, which could make things more challenging for PSG if he’s determined to play in England and bodes well for Liverpool.
Marmoush has scored 14 goals and recorded 10 assists in 16 appearances across all competitions this 2024-25 season for Frankfurt.
