2024 was quite the year for Bayern Munich…not always in the best way.
CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen wants to shake that off though and think about the possibilities for 2025 — which could include playing in the Champions League finale at home.
“My dream is that we reach the Champions League final at home. In my role — and as a Bayern fan anyway — there can be no bigger dream. I also hope that we’ll be successful with the upcoming contract extensions,” Dreesen told Tz (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
When asked if Florian Wirtz was part of his dreams for 2026, Dreesen handled the question the best he could.
“I think Leverkusen don’t want to let him go. Regardless of that, we always want to try to have a top team that is internationally competitive,” Dreesen remarked.
If we are going to shoot…let’s aim big — how about a Champions League final at the allianz Arena and an acquisition of Florian Wirtz.
