Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to bring in commendable reinforcements in the upcoming winter transfer window as Ange Postecoglou looks to add depth to his roster given the North Londoners struggles with injuries in the ongoing campaign, and the Lilywhites have been urged to consider moving for Paris Saint-Germain duo Randal Kolo Muani and Milan Škriniar in a potential loan transfer next month.
There is a dire need for a new centre back given how Ange Postecoglou has to play Archie Gray in the heart of defence owing to injury concerns to first-choice duo Micky van de Ven, and in Milan Škriniar they can land one of the most lethal defenders who has the potential to iron out the faltering defence at N17.
Meanwhile, Škriniar’s club teammate, Randal Kolo Muani, has been subject to aggressive links of a move away from Parc des Princes, with the French side expected to offer the player to a few clubs, including Tottenham and Arsenal.
Wenham urges Spurs to sign Paris Saint-Germain duo
And John Wenham, owner of the reputed Spurs podcast Lilywhites Rose, has urged Daniel Levy to sign both the players in the upcoming winter window. Speaking in an exclusive interview with Tottenham News, Wenham said:
“If they are both available, those are the kinds of players we should be targeting. They might not be getting into the PSG team, but that is because they have so many superstars battling for positions at that club. These two players could potentially be the difference in us getting over the line in the Carabao Cup or Europa League.
“It was only 18 months ago that Kolo Muani was scoring an incredible amount of goals in the Bundesliga with Frankfurt. PSG paid a substantial amount of money for him, and if he is available on loan, Tottenham should absolutely be putting themselves forward.
“As for Škriniar, he is a hugely experienced player who would also improve us. I’m not interested in Spurs insisting that the wages are too much. If these two players have been made available, there is a deal to be done there. PSG obviously want them out the door, and I’m sure they would be willing to subsidise the wages.”
If Tottenham can come out of next January with both players, it would be a huge mental boost given how good both of them are and how they add different dynamics to the current Ange Postecoglou squad.
