Tottenham winger Manor Solomon has been performing well on loan at Leeds United
Tottenham Hotspur continued their squad rebuild under Ange Postecoglou before the start of the season, adding some highly regarded talents while offloading the majority of the deadwood from the squad.
Ange Postecoglou, along with the chiefs at the Hotspur Way, also decided to loan out some academy kids to different corners of Europe to gain some valuable experience. In addition, the Australian tactician identified a few first-team players who will not feature regularly this season and allowed them to leave the club on loan.
One of them was Manor Solomon. While having started his Tottenham career on a high, things soon turned soar owing to the winger’s injury concerns that kept him on the sidelines for the majority of the previous season. The opportunities under Ange Postecoglou looked bleak when he recovered from his serious injury during pre-season, as Spurs had moved on and it was in the best of interests for both parties to go separate ways.

After a slow start to his Leeds United loan spell, disrupted by an early hamstring problem, Manor Solomon has become an important player for Daniel Farke’s side. The Israel international has started three of their last six Championship fixtures, scoring a goal and bagging a brace of assists in the Whites’ 4-0 win over Oxford United earlier this month.
Now, John Wenham—the owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose—thinks Leeds will sign Solomon permanently in a £10million deal from Tottenham after his recent impactful performances.
“Leeds fans seem to love him,” John Wenham exclusively told Tottenham News.
“He has been contributing in recent games and I’m hoping that he goes down the Joe Rodon route, and Tottenham bank £10million for him at the end of the season.
“I don’t see him having a real long-term future in North London, certainly not if Postecoglou is still at the club. Therefore, hopefully, Solomon continues to do well and Leeds buy him for £10million if they come back up.”
Leeds are chasing automatic promotion once again after narrowly missing last time out under Daniel Farke. Solomon has become a key member of the squad of late, influencing games from the start and off the bench as well with his pace, dribbling skills, directness and flair.

The diminutive winger is unlikely to have a future at Spurs, especially with the attacking talent Big Ange currently has at his disposal. So, Tottenham would be glad to see Solomon getting minutes at Elland Road but they’d hope to see him feature more prominently during the second half of the season to get a decent fee in the summer.
At the moment, though, it is too soon to predict a future for Solomon.
