Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei has been attracting enquiries from Torino, Monza, Lazio and Leicester City.
The Italian spent half a season on loan at the King Power Stadium in the back half of 2023, scoring three goals in 25 matches for the side ahead of their promotion.
He had progressed through the youth ranks at Inter Milan before joining the Blues in 2022 but he has featured just 17 times for the west London side.
This campaign, he has been limited to five appearances in the UEFA Conference League and just one in the EFL Cup for Enzo Maresca‘s resurgent side.
New Leicester boss Ruud van Nistelrooy will be keen to add some composure to his midfield ahead of what is likely to be a tense relegation run-in.
The Foxes currently lie in 19th place after sacking Steve Cooper and have lost their last four matches in the league.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina has returned to Chelsea early from a loan at Barnsley after injuring a finger.
The 20-year-old has kicked on at the League One side, making 14 appearances in all competitions as the Colliers surge into the play-offs.
The American picked up the injury in October and has had to watch on from the sidelines since.
Slolina joined Chelsea from Chicago in 2022 and has had loan spells back at the MLS club as well as at Belgian outfit KAS Eupen.
