Ruben Dias’ latest social media post has his followers suggesting the Manchester City defender is ‘hard-launching’ a relationship with Maya Jama.
Dias had sparked romance rumours with Jama after the Manchester City star was pictured celebrating New Year’s Eve with the Love Island presenter in Ibiza.
The pair had previously sparked rumours of a possible romance back in November after they began following each other on Instagram, as spotted by Game Set & Match.
MailOnline has contacted representatives for Maya Jama and Ruben Dias for comment.
Dias has previously had high-profile relationships, with the star having dated Portuguese pop star April Ivy and Love Island star Arabella Chi.
However a recent Instagram post from Dias’ New Year celebrations has seen his followers continue to suggest that the pair might be in a relationship.

Dias posted a pictured that showed to people watching the sunset as fans suggested it was him and Jama
The compilation of 11 pictures included a snap of two people gazing at a sunset with their backs to the camera and their faces obscured, though they two appear to be a man and a woman.
One fan wrote ‘Maya Jama hard launch,’ while others posted gifs and images of Jama beneath Dias’ post.
Another appeared to be a fan of a potential relationship between the two, adding: ‘I ship Ruben and Maya so bad (sic)’.
One follower appeared to poke fan at the fact that Dias is currently out injured with a calf problem, writing: ‘You can pull Maya Jama but you can’t pull yourself back on the pitch??’
Since arriving at City Dias has become one of the most consistent defenders in the Premier League, and has been crucial to Pep Guardiola’s side’s continued success.
So impressive was his impact at the Etihad that he was named the Football Writers’ Association’s Footballer of the Year in 2020-21, his first campaign in the English top-flight.
He is currently out of action at a point when his Man City team-mates are undergoing their worst ever run under Guardiola, and appear to be dropping out of the title fight with around half the season still to play.
They have a chance to get back to winning ways when they take on West Ham on Saturday afternoon.

The 27-year-old, who joined Man City in 2020, had been in a relationship with Ivy between 2018 to 2021.
Dias and Ivy, real name Mariana Goncalves, started dating at the end of 2018 and went public on New Year’s Day in 2019.
The couple had lived together in Manchester after Dias joined the Premier League giants in a £61million move from Benfica.
Dias, who has won for Premier League titles and the Champions League with Man City, reportedly split with Ivy over ‘lifestyle differences’.
Portuguese magazine Flash! reported after the split that Dias’ had desired a ‘more discreet’ life clashed with his former love’s ‘exuberance’.
A source told the publication: ‘The now ex-couple already shared a house in Manchester, where the singer had moved in order to be close to Ruben and at the same time bet on her musical career in London.
‘The lifestyles, more discreet on the part of the footballer contrasting with the more exuberant side of the artist, ended up becoming irreconcilable…’
The split had reportedly happened after the pair’s summer holiday in Greece in the July of 2021.

The Sun reported that Arabella had been regularly jetting from her home in Ibiza to spend time with Ruben in the UK.
They added the star had been ‘showering’ her stunner with gifts, while they had reportedly attempted to keep the romance under wraps.
They met through mutual friends, but the relationship became public when they shared posts of the Eiffel Tower in November 2023.
At the time, a source said: ‘Rúben and Arabella have been quietly dating. She has visited him in Manchester and their dates have been all under the radar.
‘They went to Paris for their first romantic mini-break in the week, where he wined and dined her at all the best restaurants’.
‘Rúben and Arabella are trying to keep their relationship under wraps because it’s early days. But they had the best time together in Paris and seem to be really falling for each other.’
They appeared to confirm their romance after they were spotted in an airport heading on holiday together at the beginning of 2024.

The pair reportedly split following a New Year’s break in 2024, with the Premier League star ending the three month romance.
Arabella went onto appear on Love Island: All Stars just weeks later, with the 33-year-old later speaking out about her misfortune in love.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday in August, Arabella said: ‘Last year was probably my unluckiest when it came to finding the one. I’ve been so unlucky in love.
‘I’ve dated people I thought at the time were the one, which was a mistake I’ve since learnt from.’
‘What I’ve learnt from dating last year is that you think you know someone but you don’t really know them at all. I dated people that perhaps, looking back, weren’t best suited to me.’
Following the split from Chi, Dias was reportedly ‘spotted in Ibiza with a mystery blonde’ in the summer of 2024.
The Man City star has now been linked to Jama, with the Love Island presenter, 30, having been single since she split from her boyfriend Stormzy last year.
Stormzy and Jama announced their shock split in July after taking to Instagram with a joint statement stating: ‘We fell madly in love in 2014, broke up in 2019, and the spent five years manoeuvring life apart.
They confirmed the breakup was ‘final’ after previously going their separate ways following a five year relationship in 2019 and reconnecting in August 2023.
