The competition to sign Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush intensified after the 25-year-old’s strong performances in the Bundesliga this season. However, even with the interest, there’s no offer on the table yet.
Recently reported by TBR Football, Premier League giants Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Newcastle United had been monitoring Marmoush, while Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, and Atletico Madrid also expressed interest.
Fussball News claimed that Frankfurt was open to selling Marmoush if their €60 million (£50 million or $64.8 million) valuation was met. Meanwhile, The Mirror revealed that PSG scouts attended Frankfurt’s UEFA Europa League match against Midtjylland to watch Marmoush in action.
The Omar Marmoush transfer race remains wide open
Sky Sports’ Florian Plettenberg reports that Eintracht Frankfurt have yet to receive an offer from Manchester City and there have been no negotiations for Marmoush.
“There has been no contact, no call. Nothing at all,” SGE boss Markus Krösche confirmed on Tuesday.
