Per a release from FCBayern.com, Bayern Munich goalkeeper Daniel Peretz suffered a bruised kidney during training and will be out for the “time being”:
Daniel Peretz suffered a bruised kidney during training. Further medical examinations will take place tomorrow. This means that FC Bayern will have to do without the 24-year-old goalkeeper for the time being.
This comes at a bad time for Peretz, who was slated to take over as the squad’s No. 2 goalkeeper. Even more, Manuel Neuer is coming off of a rib injury, so Sven Ulreich might want to limber up just in case he is needed.
