Bayern Munich youngster Benjamin Dibrani has left the club on a permanent basis, communicated via a simple message on official club social media. From @fcbayerncampus:
Midfielder Benjamin Dibrani leaves FCBayern and joins Slovenian first division club FC Koper.
The 20-year-old joined Bayern in 2018, working his way through every stage of the Bavarian’s campus and overcame a cruciate ligament tear before graduating from the U-23s and going on loan to Schwarz Weiß Bregenz in the Austrian 2. Bundesliga for the 2023/24 season. There, Dibrania started slow but was eventually able to win game time at the newly promoted club, helping them stay in the league. One would think he would return from loan on a wave of momentum.
But that momentum is clearly gone now. The Kosovar did not go out on loan again, nor did he make a single match day squad for the U-23s. Naturally, this, alongside a contract that was set to expire in the June of 2025, necessitated a move away from the Bavarians and that has come in the form of joining Slovenian side FC Koper. It is really good to see Dibrani get a fresh start as well as another chance at the game time and development he needs and deserves. Good luck, Benny!
