Graham Potter has named his West Ham United starting XI for tonight’s Premier League clash with Fulham at the London Stadium.
West Ham face Fulham tonight, and Graham Potter has taken an innovative approach to his starting XI.
Craig Pawson will referee the game tonight – bad news for the Hammers considering the standard of some of his performances when officiating our matches in the past.
West Ham are in desperate need of all three points against the Cottagers.
Nothing less than a win will do, if we are to mount an assault on the European places.
So how has Potter lined up for the clash with the Cottagers?
Graham Potter names West Ham starting XI for Fulham clash
The Hammers head coach will make his first appearance in the home dug-out at the London Stadium tonight.
It’s a huge night for the 49-year-old and us as a club.
Here’s how Potter has decided to set up his team for the Fulham game, as confirmed via the club’s official X account:
Lukasz Fabianski, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Max Kilman, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Emerson Palmieri, Guido Rodriguez, Edson Alvarez, Tomas Soucek, Carlos Soler, Mohammed Kudus, Lucas Paqueta
It’s very interesting to see Rodriguez back in the team, and potentially a front two of Paqueta and Kudus?
Either way, it’s exciting to see what the boys have in store for us tonight.
I expect the players to be well up for this one tonight.
They displayed their real quality during the first 60 minutes of our 2-1 FA Cup defeat at Aston Villa on Friday night.
Now I would like to see a more complete performance throughout the entire 90 minutes.
Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Paqueta really need to stand up and be counted this evening.
Fulham are a very strong side, but the West Ham starting XI selected by Graham Potter definitely has enough to cause the visitors problems.
Despite missing numerous important players through injury tonight, I’m going for a 2-1 West Ham win.
