For weeks now, Bayern Munich has been linked to Hoffenheim midfielder Tom Bischof. Despite those reports, do not expect Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund to disclose an exclusive details pertaining to the 19-year-old.
“Tom Bischof is a young German player who is developing well. Of course we know him but it’s not a big topic at the moment. He’s playing against us tomorrow, we want to leave the pitch as winners, that’s the most important thing. There’s a lot of speculation at the moment. The most important thing for us is that we win the games in the next few weeks. We’re having talks in the background. But our focus is on the many games, we currently have a very good energy in the team. It’s important that we continue to maintain the calm that we have created,” Freund said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Bayern Munich is absolutely more focused on the result of its match against Hoffenheim, but it is safe to say that the club bosses will have at least one eye on Bischof as he tries to take their team down.
