After Bayern Munich completed a 5-0 Bundesliga thumping of TSG Hoffenheim in the Allianz Arena, they weren’t quite done ruining Hoffenheim fans’ evening.
Mere seconds after the full-time whistle blew in Munich, Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports DE made a simple statement. “Tom Bischof will join FC Bayern!”
The young German midfielder is one of the league’s brightest players already at the age of 19, and after quite a few weeks of intense rumours, it’s now confirmed that Bischof will be joining Bayern at the end of his contract in the summer on a free transfer, and it’s been made clear that Bischof is not going to be loaned out once he is signed, signalling that he will immediately become a part of the midfield unit. Bischof’s medical is scheduled for next week.
