Rúben Amorim’s decision to leave Alejandro Garnacho out of last month’s Manchester derby has sparked speculation about the young player’s future at Manchester United.
The Daily Mail reports that Garnacho is no longer seen as “untouchable” at the club, with top European clubs like Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, Real Madrid, and Barcelona reportedly showing interest.
While a transfer isn’t imminent, the report suggests that United might consider offers starting at around £70 million. The Daily Mail also notes that the club believes Garnacho could command a higher transfer fee than Marcus Rashford if they decide to sell.
Napoli’s stance on pursuing Alejandro Garnacho
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has stated that Garnacho is considered a “dream signing” for Napoli and Antonio Conte, who are looking to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia ahead of his looming move to PSG.
However, the Italian club is being realistic and knows that Manchester United will demand a hefty fee for the 20-year-old. Nonetheless, the Serie A side aren’t alone in their interest in Garnacho.
