We all should understand and have a clear idea of what football is all about and the mess of signings and summer deals done by Steve Cooper and his recruitment team, must be sorted out, before we do see some improvement.
Woyo Coulibaly is an interesting player and the only new addition to the squad so far in this January transfer window, but with so many players on the books at the club, sales are needed before more additions can be made.
Caleb Okoli was a strange signing in the summer, as the club had allready given Jannik Vestergaard a new and extended deal. Conor Coady and Wout Faes were also in the group as well as having Harry Souttar, later loaned out to Sheffield United, Hamza Choudhury and Wilfred Ndidi who all could operate in this type of role. Ben Nelson is an England u.20 international who also was in the first team frame, later making a loan move to Oxford.
The type of recruitment done over the summer, as new signings such as Oliver Skipp, Bilal El Khannouss, Caleb Okoli, Jordan Ayew or Odsonne Eduoard, all became strange and odd as they had no real role in the team under Steve Cooper. Nice to see Bilal now being given a pivotal role in the team, and that shows the reason for a signing for major fees, they need to play.
🚨JUST IN
Sheffield United’s offer that has been accepted by Leicester City for Tom Cannon is in the region of £10m up front, with potential add-ons in the future including if the Blades are promoted this season.

Caleb Okoli has been linked with a return to Serie A. Parma is said to be prepared to do some sort of deal, but hardly able to pay a fee in the region of £12million, so at this point, we do believe this will never happen. Wout Faes is said to be a target for Lazio, with a loan and a potential sale in the summer. Could happen in the summer, but a loan deal out the season looks very unlikely.
Sammy Braybrooke has returned from his loan spell at Dundee, coming back after a frustrating time in Scotland, not really given a proper chance to shine, mostly been an unused sub. He is said to be part of the first team squad for the remaining of the season. Kelechi Iheanacho is another player who return to English football. Leeds are said to be eager to sign the Sevilla forward, not really being able to adapt to the Spanish game.
The move from Leicester to Sheffield United looks to be a done deal for Tom Cannon. A fee of £12million is said to be the price, hopefully a move that will happen over the weekend. Never miss out on our fresh and updated rumours list of hot, cool and cold candidates to join Leicester.
Odsonne Eduoard is said to be a target for MLS club Atlanta United, This rumour has circulated a while and hopefully this will be happening so he can leave Leicester as well as getting a new life in football as his career has in real stanced, not really being part of Oliver Glasner’s future plan at Crystal Palace.
