The announcement had the effect of a bomb. While everything seemed complete for the loan of Randal Kolo Muani to Juventus Turin, the operation remains, for the moment, on standby and formalization is still pending. And for good reason, a problem crept into this file at the last minute. PSG has, in fact, already reached its quota of players loaned abroad, limited to 6 by FIFA (Xavi Simons at Leipzig, Carlos Soler at West Ham, Nordi Mukiele at Bayer Leverkusen, Renato Sanches at Benfica, Cher Ndour at Besiktas and Juan Bernat at Villarreal). A rule that has changed since FIFA authorized 7 players last season.
If the capital club has since assured that it was aware of this point of settlement and remains more confident than ever for a positive outcome in this matter, this imbroglio could however considerably upset Parisian plans during this winter window . Indeed, if The Team affirmed in recent hours that Cher Ndour, loaned by PSG to Besiktas, could leave the Turkish club to join an Italian team and thus unblock the situation, other Ile-de-France players have been announced on departure.
Same problem for Asensio and Skriniar
This is particularly the case of Marco Asensio, courted by many Spanish clubs, but also Milan Skriniar, coveted by Aston Villa, Tottenham, Naples and Galatasaray. Yes but there you go, just like RKM, PSG will have to sell these two undesirables and not lend them, at the risk of finding themselves in the same situation as the French international. Therefore, if a loan remains possible for the 28-year-old Spaniard and the 29-year-old Slovak, the reigning French champions will then have to sell or recall one of the players concerned (Xavi Simons, Carlos Soler, Renato Sanches, Cher Ndour, Nordi Mukiele and Juan Bernat). And the current leader of Ligue 1 is not at the end of his troubles.
Indeed, until now, clubs interested in Skriniar have only made loan requests. For Asensio, Aston Villa, Real Sociedad, Real Betis Balompié, Mallorca and Villarreal have shown an interest but again it remains to be seen whether these different courtiers will accept a transfer or will rather favor a loan. One thing is certain, the case of Randal Kolo Muani, who should indeed join Juve, has highlighted this quota of players loaned abroad. A rule that risks causing some headaches for Luis Campos and his teams in the days to come…
