Christopher Nkunku’s future at Chelsea is uncertain, with top European clubs reportedly showing interest in the forward. According to Graeme Bailey of TBR Football, the 27-year-old could depart as early as January, with his representatives exploring potential moves.
Nkunku joined Chelsea from RB Leipzig in 2023 for £52 million but has struggled to secure a regular starting spot, fueling speculation about his next steps.
Journalist Ben Jacobs revealed that PSG have a genuine interest in Nkunku but has yet to make a formal approach. Meanwhile, Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported that Bayern Munich is keen to sign the forward immediately.
The German club has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Nkunku on a long-term contract, with all terms finalized. Nkunku is also eager to join Bayern at the earliest opportunity.
However, a return to Germany may take time.
Chelsea don’t budge from their asking price
Sky Sports reports that Chelsea are demanding at least £70 million for the transfer, complicating a potential January move.

Recently, talks of a swap deal involving Mathys Tel have also faced setbacks, with Plettenberg noting that Tel is likely to stay at Bayern. As a result, Nkunku’s move could be postponed until the summer.
