According to a report from Sport Bild journalist Christian Falk (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich star midfielder Joshua Kimmich is “in contact” with Real Madrid over a potential move this summer.
Kimmich sees Real Madrid as an “attractive destination” and the Spanish powerhouse is a “serious” contender to land the Germany international:
Joshua Kimmich has had contact with Real Madrid. The player sees the Spanish club as an attractive destination with very good prospects of winning the Champions League. Bayern are still in the race to keep Kimmich, there have been several talks with Eberl and Freund. But Real Madrid is now a serious and very attractive option for the player.
Kimmich is expected to be a prime free agent this summer if he does not sign a contract extension with Bayern Munich. Aside of Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool FC, and Manchester City are among the club that have been linked to Kimmich in recent months.
