Tim Sherwood was left shocked as Arsenal youngster Myles Lewis-Skelly received a straight red card against Wolves.
Lewis-Skelly was dismissed by Michael Oliver for a challenge on defender Matt Doherty inside the Wolves half.
The incident occurred with two minutes of normal time remaining at the end of the first half at Molineux.
Arsenal then made an alteration ahead of the second half, with left-back Riccardo Calafioiri coming on for Ethan Nwaneri.
Speaking on Sky Sports Soccer Saturday, former Tottenham player and manager Sherwood said: ‘I am still reeling from it, I can’t believe Michael Oliver has sent him off!!’.
Many fans were also livid at the decision, with one describing it as ‘outrageous’.
